I had not been to the dentist in over 10 years due to a number of bad experiences in the past. Although somewhat embarrassed by the state of my teeth, my view of dentists was all about pain and little about caring. A flyer from Dr. Angela Berkovich sparked my interest, however, so I made a tentative inquiry that has since changed my outlook on dentistry forever.Upon emailing Dr. Berkovichs office, I received an immediate call back from Cathy who was extremely understanding and listened to all my issues and concerns. At my first appointment, I could tell that I was in a caring, professional environment. The office is very modern and there are none of the smells or noises that I remembered from my prior dental experiences.My first appointment consisted of filling out a comprehensive medical and dental history, along with x-rays. The initial cleaning with an extremely personable and knowledgeable dental hygienist (Shauna) was postponed after I explained that my teeth were very, very sensitive due to lack of care.Dr. Berkovich then extensively discussed my treatment options, anticipated outcome, cost and time needed. Together, we developed a plan to achieve long-term comfort, improved dental health and a very happy smile.
