Case Description
After being very afraid of the dentist for years, I gained the strength 2 months ago to go to a dentist. At that time it was discovered that I needed several fillings as well 1 possibly 2 Root Canals. The dentist office that I went to had an Endontist staff there. I was promised by the receptionist that I would have Nitrous available for me. I knew it was the only way that I could confront my fears. When I came in for my root canal therapy appointment the Endodontist explained to me that I would not have Nitrous available to me. At that moment I had a severe panic attack. I felt that I had been tricked, and completely lost all respect.
I am in need of an Endodonist any where from Ft Pierce to Boca Raton area that has either IV sedation or Oral sedation available. I would perfer to have all of my work done at one time, perferably on a Saturday. Are there any Endodontists in this area that as some sort of sedation and accepts AETNA DMO? Please let me know!

Dear Customer, It is unfortunate that you had a negative experience. Did you get an explanation why sedation was not available? Could it be due to certain medical issues or ?As to another dentist, many offer sedation if a patient is a candidate. As to your AETNA DMO plan, most specialists discount 25% of regular and customary fees. The insurance will cover the balance after any out of pocket expenses.Our office does not offer Saturday hours, but we have all of our specialists on site and can perform the procedure. I read your e-mail and am sympathetic to your needs. While I myself do not perform root canals being an orthodontist, I can however refer you to Dr Jordan Schapiro here in Boca at 561-347-0091. He is the most popular dentist of any kind that I have met and there is absolutely no question whatsoever in my mind that he is the one for you. Many of the dentists within an hour radius of here use him for themselves and their families, as do I. I can promise you he is worth the trip. I have NEVER seen a patient that didn''''t thank me for referring to them to him!
